Chemist, photographer, meteorologist, medic, gardener, programmer, sound engineer...

Those are a few of the things people know me for. Simply put, I'm AWESOME.

Times when I wish I had a wider lens. At the very least, I have the skill to capture things like these with what I have!

Isolated downpour refracts the sun’s light to reveal its component colors. That, or Heimdallr is testing out the repaired Asgard-Midgard bridge.

Solitude on Flickr.Via Flickr:
On our way home, we stopped at the highest point in the Philippine highway to just soak in the view. My attempt to make an EPIC panoramic stitch ended in failure, unfortunately. Fortunately, I was able to salvage ~50% of the image.
On a side note, I so want to live in that small plateau. Imagine looking out the window of that house and see this EVERYDAY.

Kiltepan Dawn on Flickr.Via Flickr:
A HUEG crowd was already at the lower point of Kiltepan so I couldn’t get a lower-angle shot of the misty mountain ranges at dawn. But hey, this capture still looks good in black and white.

Sagada at Night on Flickr.Via Flickr:
Rather than sleep and wake up to go see the sunrise at Kiltepan, I decided to stay up all night and capture Sagada’s nightscape. The 35mm 1.8 really helped with its superior-than-the-kit sharpness.

Some 4 kilometers of walking downhill, and we finally reached the majestic Bomod-ok Falls. I really loved my ND1024 + ND8 combo for this shot.

A Glimpse From The Staggered Plains on Flickr.Via Flickr:
Day 2 of the Sagada adventure was a journey towards the Bomod-ok Falls. We had to trek some 4 kilometers down a rather steep slope and amongst some rice terraces to get there. I was too lazy to switch back to my trusty 18-55mm so it was up to the 35mm and the D3100 on Aperture Priority to get the job done.

Dawn at the Mountain Province on Flickr.Via Flickr:
After an afternoon-night Sumaguing Cave system, I inexplicably woke up at around 3 am. Couldn’t doze off once more so I decided to take a stroll around town. Some 2 hours of wandering later, I finally found a place to set up my tripod and camera.
Oh yeah, if you look hard enough, you can see some hanging coffins.

View from my Balcony (Sagada Version) on Flickr.Via Flickr:
After roughly 2 hours of driving through winding roads up and down the mountain slopes, we finally arrived at Sagada. Got our bags and got settled in to our lodging. Here’s what it looked like from the room’s balcony.

Had another stop over during our way to Sagada, this time at the famous Banaue Rice Terraces. These massive man-made marvels of agriculture show the ingenuity of the Ifugao as well as the importance of rice.

Was at Sagada the past 3 days. On the way, we made a short stop at Banaue to take in the scenery. Decided to take it a step further and immortalize the view.
